Summary:Under the direction of the Central Scheduling Manager, provides oversight, coordination and professional leadership to the Central Scheduling, Referrals and Pre-Registraion teams.Solid understanding of all tasks related to the insurance and referral process, patient scheduling, registration and up front financial processes in an efficient, accurate and hospitable manner to ensure that patient, provider and organizational needs are met.Works closely with management to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Engages in performance improvement activities as needed and serves as a communication facilitator for area of responsibility.
Requirements:High school graduate or equivalent, college degree desired.One to three years relevant experience preferred, including knowledge of insurances, scheduling, registration and healthcare billing.At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a health care setting.
Skills:Excellent written, verbal and problem solving communication skills.Demonstrated leadership experience.Strong computer skills with Microsoft, electronic health records and scheduling software.Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.Must be committed to working with the public and providing internal and external customer service excellence.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
