Summary:The Clinical Medical Assistant is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care in the physician office setting.Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills on behalf of Swift River Health Care and The Elsemore Dixfield Center.The ClinicalMedical Assistant practices in accordance withRumfordHospitals Clinical Policies and Procedures and operates within the American Association of Medical Assistants guidelines. The Clinical Medical Assistant promotes teamwork with staff, physicians, and personnel in other departments; and supports the values of Swift River Health Care and The Elsemore Dixfield direct and indirect patient care in the practice. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision.Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the with the providers about changes in patient's status, and results of diagnostic studies.
Regulatory RequirementsMust have an associate's degree in Medical Assisting froman accreditedcollege with up to six (6) months CMA experience.Current Medical Assistant certification thourgh AMT or RMA.Current BCLS Certification.
Skills:Basic computer knowledge.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
