Summary: The RN, Cardiopulmonary provides direct and indirect patient care in the Cardiopulmonary/ Telemetry setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.
Requirements: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferable. Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of Maine. One or more years of recent acute care experience, preferred. Successful completion of critical care course, basic arrhythmia certification and 12 lead interpretation class or obtain within one year. Current ACLS (or obtain within one year) and American Hearut Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Proficient in interpreting EKG.
Every other weekendEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
