Job Details:
Summary: Prepares hot and cold beverages in amounts designated. Prepares desserts fornoonmeal , modifies food consistency as necessary for residents. Assists in service of hot foods to all residents; delivers food carts to units. Clears and cleans food carts. Washes trays, dishes and tableware; restocks cupboards, racks, dispensers and holders with clean items. Monitors temperature of dish machine wash and rinse cycles as outlined. Replenishes supplies such as napkins, sugar packets, placemats, coffee, tea and other items as necessary. Spot sweeps work area floor as necessary. Completes and documents cleaning tasks as designated by cleaning schedule. Follows basic rules of sanitation. Follows guidelines of HACCP Food Safety System. Operates equipment and uses cleaning chemicals in a safe manner. Performs other duties as requested by Food Service Supervisor. May be requested to lift, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Repetitive movement may be necessary at various times. May be required to work shifts/hours other than scheduled. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
