Summary:Assists with the overall care of residents in cooperation with other facility staff as assigned by the charge person/Director of Clinical Services. Works in close cooperation with other team members to give personal care to assigned residents as needed. Assists in any way possible to provide a safe, homelike, and comfortable environment for the residents.
Requirements: High School or GED required. Current CNA certification in the state of Maine. Listing on the Maine State CNA Registry without annotation. Student NA must complete certification program and be placed on the State Registry within four months. Residential Aide must have Residential Care Specialist 1(RCS-I), or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certificatiction. May be trained within 4 months of employment. Six months to one year s experience preferred. Must be tolerant, patient and treat residents with dignity and respect.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
