Summary: The Unit Coordinator/Unit Assistant provides direct support in the facilitation and support of the block schedule, add-on cases and coordination of ancillary services. These duties include reviewing and mitigating schedule issues, investigating and providing information needed to assist the unit Charge Nurse for final placement of add-on, urgent and emergent cases, coordination of services and placement of those patients in the schedule. The Unit Coordinator will compile the unit s data for dashboards and participate in assigned performance improvement initiatives directed by the department manager. Other responsibilities include being the point of contact or resource in the unit for broken or malfunctioning equipment, and issues with supplies.
Experience with the endoscopy procedures preferred
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. One year experience as a surgical scheduler or equivalent. Current American Heart Association BLS. Bachelor Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred. Medical terminology knowledge.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Microsoft Office skills required. Critical thinking and time management skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
