Job Details:
The Patient Services Representative,(PSR) is responsible for performing diversified clerical tasks. Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills on behalf of the Central Maine Medical Center. Responsibilities include: developing and maintaining data collection for the practice and assisting in delivering the goals and services of CMMC. Must be a graduate of high school and have demonstrated clerical and computer skills. Prior medical office, customer service experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Requirements: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred. Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred. Completion of medical terminology course preferred. Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge, Data Entry. Keyboard skills: 35 - 40 wpm
Two days (16 hours per week) for the 8:00 am-4:30pm shift. Wednesdays and Thrusdays are top priority, but these can change if needed. Employee must be flexible and also willing to work in our Topsham location if needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
