Job Details:
The Secretary, Same Day Surgery provides indirect patient care in the Outpatient Clinic. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Does Unite Secretary duties and will schedule patients for surgery - predominately in PAT/SDS. Implements directions from the physicians and nursing staff. Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. One-year experience in an acute care hospital preferred. Medical terminology course required. BCLS certification. Skills: Basic computer knowledge.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
