Summary:The Adjunct Faculty has responsibility to ensure that course objectives are met through provisions of assigned lecture content, student interaction, and campus lab as appropriate.Faculty are members of the Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professionals Leadership Team and as such serve as leadership representatives to students and staff providing expertise in educational endeavors.
Requirements:Documentation of education appropriate to material being taught, from an accredited university or college.Teaching experience in post secondary education is preferred.Must be able to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.Faculty responsibilities include supervision/teaching students during their planned teaching/learning experiences in the classroom, and laboratory as appropriate. It is expected that they possess knowledge and demonstrate expertise in the teaching/learning process. Competency in assigned area of teaching is mandatory.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
