Summary:The Security Officer provides protection for all persons and property safety within the organization and its environment. Provides customer service and ensures orderly parking.Responds to security needs of hospital personnel quickly and effectively.
Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Must possess a current, active Maine Driver s License with no court-imposed restrictions.This CMHC position must meet the criteria for evaluating vehicle operator suitability.It has been determined that this position requires either the operation of a system or leased vehicle or the use of a personal vehicle for business purposes on a regular basis an integral part of the job.

Must clear security checks:
A.No convictions of offenses that reflect behavior unsuited for security.
B.No convictions for violations of ME traffic laws that reflect abuse of intoxicating or impairing substances, or regard for public safety or general disregard for public law.(e.g. assault, theft)
Record checks include:
A.ME State Police Criminal History Files.
B.Department of Motor Vehicles Files.
Skills:Basic computer knowledge required.Knowledge of investigative procedures, de-escalating violence, hospital security, infant abduction and protection mechanisms preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
