Summary:The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Rehabilitation Center s mission, vision and values. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining a strong patient census through the growth of new and existing referrals.The Admissions Coordinator must facilitate and improve access to the Rehabilitation Center.The Admissions Coordinator must have sufficient experience and demonstrate leadership abilities.The Admissions Coordinator is the centralized source for program information for customers.The Admissions Coordinator must demonstrate an understanding of the medical and rehabilitation needs of the patient and facilitates a seamless multifaceted assessment, approval of benefits, admission and discharge.
Requirements:
Is a motivated, Independent individual who can organize workload so that all functions are completed appropriately.Working knowledge of criteria for Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and private insurance coverage.Minimum of 2 years experience in Acute Rehabilitation setting,Bachelors Degree with clinical background is preferred.Prefer marketing experience, must have working knowledge of Acute Rehabilitation services.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
