Summary:The Financial Aid Specialist has the primary responsibility for all aspects of the student financial aid program in a team environment.The Specialist reviews and adheres to Federal and State rules, regulations and procedures in the administration, awarding, and reporting of federal and state loans, grants, and scholarships.The Specialist also evaluates and responds to student needs and inquiries and communicates with funding agencies as appropriate.
Requirements:Associate s Degree required, Bachelor s Degree preferred, from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Skills:Intermediate computer knowledge.Demonstrated experience in a Financial Aid position.Strong mathematical and reasoning.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
