Summary: The Environmental Services Technician cleans and maintains all carpeted areas and hard surface areas in the facility. Performs a variety of support including project cleaning and moving tasks to provide a clean, safe and attractive environment for patients, staff and visitors. Performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment.
Requirements: High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to read and understand equipment manuals. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
This position will require the candidate to be able to be crosstrained in the following:
Cleans all the ground floor common areas and all bathrooms,Pastoral Care, Blood Donor Cnt, security office, bio med, ES, Elevators, Or stairwell and covers for Groundskeep when he is off, also covers trash or Bio picks and Linen distirbution.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
